Energy Play is a non martial practice that seeks to express the profound wisdom at the core of Qigong by providing intuitively led classes, aimed at exploring and experiencing the benefits of Qigong using a wide range of forms, in an informal, supportive environment.

What is Qigong?

Qigong (also spelled Chi Kung and pronounced Chi Gung) balances and strengthens the body through gentle movement and static postures. It is an effective way of improving health, increasing flexibility and reducing tension.

The origins of Qigong can be traced back to the animal dances of the Chinese Zhou dynasty (1028 to 221 bc). Over the years it has developed and evolved and is now used for a wide range of purposes from Traditional Chinese Medicine to Body Conditioning for Martial Arts and the pursuit of spiritual growth.
